Comprehensive spa care, which is fully covered by the insurance company, has a basic duration of 28 or 21 days, depending on the indication/your diagnosis. For contributory spa care, where the insurance company pays for the treatments, and the client pays for accommodation and meals, the length of stay is usually 21 days.
Will I have to pay extra for the spa treatment?
In the case of comprehensive spa care, your health insurance company fully covers spa treatment, meals, and accommodation. For contributory care, the health insurance company will only pay for the medical part of the stay.
How long is the spa care proposal valid?
The spa proposal for comprehensive treatment is valid for 3 months from the date of confirmation by the reviewing physician, and for contributory spa treatment for 6 months from the date of confirmation by the reviewing physician. You must enter the spa within this three or six-month period.
When is spa treatment covered by health insurance?
This is stipulated in the valid Indication List of Spa Care, which you can find on the website of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic, for example. Here you can find information about the conditions of care and which specialist proposes the treatment.

Kolik činí lázeňský poplatek a kdo je od placení místního poplatku z pobytu osvobozen?
Místní poplatek z pobytu činí 50 Kč za osobu a noc a řídí se platnou vyhláškou města Mariánské Lázně. Tento poplatek není zahrnut v ceně pobytových balíčků a hradí se samostatně na recepci hotelu. Od placení lázeňského poplatku jsou dle zákona osvobozeny tyto vybrané skupiny hostů: Osoby mladší 18 let. Držitelé průkazu ZTP/P a jejich průvodci. Pacienti na komplexní lázeňské péči (KLP), kterou plně hradí zdravotní pojišťovna. Osoby na příspěvkové lázeňské péči (PLP) poplatek hradí, pokud nesplňují jinou z výše uvedených podmínek.

How many points do I have on my card?

To find out the amount of points on your ROYAL SPA loyalty card, please contact the reception of the hotel where you last stayed or the marketing department at the email address marketing@royalspa.cz.

Is it possible to transfer points to another member?

Yes, but only in the event of the death of one of the spouses. Please contact the marketing department at the following email address - marketing@royalspa.cz.

Is there an extra bed in the room?
Yes, some rooms have an extra bed for a fee. When you select the number of people in your online booking, you will be offered rooms with extra beds.
Can I start my stay with lunch?
Full-board and half-board stays always start with dinner.
Can points be loaded additionally?

It is not possible to load additional points. The card must be declared at the hotel reception upon check-in for the points to be automatically loaded at the end of the stay.

When do I go to the spa after a hip/knee replacement?
It is advisable to enter the spa as soon as your condition allows you to be loaded with medical rehabilitation. However, no later than 3 months after the operation, and in case of postoperative complications, within 6 months after the operation.

Yes, our nutritionist will tailor the diet to your requirements. When booking your stay, please indicate your dietary needs in the notes or contact the hotel reception.
Are drinks included in the price of lunch and dinner?
Drinks are not included in the price of lunch and dinner. Drinks can be purchased from the drinks menu.
How quickly will I receive my gift voucher?
It depends on the choice of payment and delivery terms. If you choose to pay by credit card through a payment gateway and delivery by e-mail, the gift voucher will be sent to your e-mail address within a few minutes. If you choose to pay by bank transfer, the process is more complicated and can take 1-2 days.
Can I receive a gift voucher in the post?
Yes, but it will take longer to process than if you choose email delivery. Gift vouchers are sent by our sales department "registered" and only after the money has been credited to our account. Therefore, it may take 2-3 days for a gift voucher to be delivered by post. We recommend that you choose to have the voucher delivered electronically by email.
Is it better to order procedures in advance or on the spot?
We recommend that you book the dates of the treatments in advance so that we can arrange the desired date.
Can the gift certificate be paid for with an invoice from the FKSP or a benefit?
Yes, just please make sure to fill in the exact billing information (company address, including company ID or VAT number) when paying from the FKSP. Unfortunately, you cannot use the benefit to pay for the gift voucher.
Can we take the electric scooter to our room?
Electric bikes and scooters cannot be taken to the room. There is a bicycle storage room where you can also recharge them.
I was unable to order the gift voucher because there was a problem with the payment gateway. I didn't receive a confirmation with the invoice and I simply don't have the voucher. What should I do?

Can I come to stay with my dog?
Pets are not allowed in the hotel. Due to other guests who are at our hotel for spa treatment.
My value gift voucher is worth more than the stay we want to redeem it for. What else can we redeem the difference in price for?
The price difference can be used to purchase treatments, pay for parking, or local charges. Alternatively, you can buy souvenirs from your stay at the reception - ROYAL SPA drink, bag, mug, wafers, or even THERMELOVE healing dermocosmetics.
I have a gift voucher for a stay in Mariánské Lázně at ROYAL. Can I also use it in the Thermal Spa?
In this case, the gift voucher can only be redeemed where it was issued.

Jaké přírodní léčivé zdroje využívá hotel ROYAL Mariánské Lázně?
Hotel ROYAL Mariánské Lázně využívá tradiční přírodní léčivé zdroje typické pro Mariánské Lázně, zejména minerální prameny, přírodní oxid uhličitý, přírodní rašelinu a další přírodní léčebné postupy využívané při balneoterapii a rehabilitaci. Přímo v hotelu využíváme vlastní Balbínův pramen formou koupelí.
K čemu slouží minerální prameny v lázeňské léčbě?
Minerální prameny se využívají při pitných kúrách, koupelích, inhalacích nebo zábalech. Mohou podpořit léčbu pohybového aparátu, nervové a oběhové soustavy, trávicího systému, metabolismu, ledvin a močových cest, dýchacích cest nebo regeneraci organismu po onkologickém onemocnění.
Jak dlouho trvá, než se projeví účinky lázeňské léčby?
Účinek léčby je individuální a závisí na zdravotním stavu, typu potíží i délce pobytu. Někteří hosté pociťují úlevu již během pobytu, jiné benefity se mohou projevit postupně po návratu domů.
